We are professionals focused on elevating the creative and intellectual profile of the Silicon Valley marketing community. This can only be achieved by creating a forum for exchanging information, insight, and access to and with other industry professionals. The quality of a tribe is defined by the quality of its members.   • Tim Hendrick
    Tim HendrickGovernor & National Board Member

    Along with a full teaching load, he also oversees the business/advertising sales operations of Spartan Media and is also the Managing Director of DB&H, SJSU’s award winning on-campus communications agency. He has authored numerous academic articles, and managed and implemented corporate branding & positioning initiatives, marcom strategies, integrated media campaigns, promotions and co-marketing programs at the local, national and international levels.

    David has been developing creative brand building campaigns for over ten years and has worked in a variety of community relations and marketing positions for over 13 years. David has a M.A. Degree in Mexican American Studies and a B.A. Degree in Advertising from San José State University.

Charlie leads strategy and guides our creative teams toward not just breakthrough ideas, but highly effective, integrated campaigns.

    A passionate educator, image-maker and stand-up paddle boarder with a love of the ocean and the environment that drives his teaching, service, creative and research activities. A European native that landed in California in the summer of 2012. Innovative and creative forms of engagement inspire John’s classes. Creative and strategic thinking, ideation and pushing the boundaries of traditional communications form the backbone of his curricula where students solve real world problems in ways that enhance their employability in an ever competitive advertising world. Integrated solutions, advertising for good, user experience and engagement are key areas of interest that drive the tasks he sets his students.

    Nicole, completed her BS in Business Marketing from San Francisco State University. Prior to attending SFSU, Nicole was in sales for five years at ATT Wireless. During that time, she gained strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills. After discovering her proficiency in sales and marketing, she went to work for a small non-profit in a social-media management position. As an Associate Account Manger at Decca, Nicole has become well versed in Google Analytics, AdWords, SEO, retargeting, social-media campaigns, and reporting campaign metrics.

    While spending her early years at companies such as HP and 3Com before moving to the agency side, Deanna brings many years of project management and client service skills to Decca Design. At Decca, Deanna has managed an extensive variety of projects in all areas of advertising and marketing–including integrated marketing campaigns, print and online ads, brand development, collateral, promotional and event marketing, web site and multimedia development for various technology companies and medical startups. Accustomed to working in a fast-paced, creative environment—serving as a liaison between the client and creative team—she has a proven record of on-time project completion and superior customer service. Deanna holds a BA from San Jose State University.

    A graduate from the advertising program at San Jose State University, Kaitlyn is the founder and president of AD2 Silicon Valley. With a love for the industry and a passion to create the unthinkable, she is always looking for awesome people to nerd with out on topics like creative branding, design, photography, and the strategy that goes behind it. Officially entering the bay area native threshold, she loves adventuring around and exploring everything that our vibrant Bay Area has to offer.
